Dr. Rammanohar Puthiyedath

B.A.M.S, MD

Dr. Rammanohar is qualified in Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery) and M.D. (Ayu) in Dravyaguna (Ayurvedic Pharmacology). He is currently part of the Ayurvedic faculty at Southern California University in Health Sciences, USA and European Academy of Ayurveda, Germany. He currently hold honorary positions at National Science Academy, India; National Institute of Ayurveda, India; Interdisciplinary R&D Task Force for Covic-19, Ministry of Ayush, India among others.

He has more than 100 publications against his name including research papers across indexed journals and chapters in books. One such interesting paper is titled “Toxicity of Ayurveda medicines and safety concerns: The need to revive the branch of toxicology in Ayurveda”.

His research experience includes, but not limited to, the role of Principal Investigator for English translation with critical notes of Pathyapathya, a 16th century text on Ayurvedic Dietetics, Indian National Science Academy, New Delhi, India.
